January Kayak Trip
Withlacoochee/Rainbow River
Tues. Jan 26, 10:00 AM depart.
This is a relatively easy trip upriver into the Rainbow and drifting back starting at the boat ramp at the bridge on 41 by City Hall in Dunnellon. If time permits, we can paddle up the Withlacoochee a little way on the return. There are usually a lot of birds this time of year so bring your camera. Trip should last approximately 2 hours.
Directions: Go north on 41 until you cross the river in Dunnellon. Turn left into the park, drop your kayak and park up on the hill. There are bathrooms at this park.
Lunch will be at Blue Gator on the deck across the street. You can leave your vehicle and walk over.

If the weather is inclement we will reschedule to the next Tuesday. Phone Cathy 1 1/2 to 2 hours before launch time to verify if conditions are questionable.
