Our bike ride for December will be Friday, Dec. 9th on the Withlacoochee State Trail from the Hernando Trailhead (near the corner of 486 and 41 across from Chicken King by the new bathrooms) to Wallace Brooks Park in Inverness and back.

Start time: 10:00 am

Distance: Approx. 14 miles roundtrip.

Parking: There is limited parking space at the Hernando Trailhead and a sign directing overflow to another parking area behind it.

Following the ride, those who would like to grab a bite and socialize will meet at Frank's restaurant a couple of blocks north on the trail by the intersection of 200 and 41. For those who plan to have lunch at Franks, you could park there in the shopping center, go behind Franks to get on the trail and bike to the trailhead a short distance south to meet the group.
