Nature Coast Ramblers Third Saturday Hike at Fort Cooper State Park  October 15, 2011

We will meet at 9 AM at Parking lot one and hike at 9:15 AM.

There is an entrance fee to the park, per vehicle.  You may want to car pool and save a little money.

If it is fairly cool we will hike the sandhill area first, and then do the lower trails after a break.  If it is too warm that day we will only do the lower areas.

Fort Cooper is on Old Floral City Road near Inverness. Take 41 South and turn left on to Eden Drive.  Turn right after crossing the rails-to-trails on to Old Floral City Road and follow this a short way to the park entrance on the right.  

Don't forget snacks, water and bug spray.
