Kayak - Tuesday 11/29/11 Marsh Bend Park

The Rambler's kayak trip will take place Tuesday, November 29.
We will be going to the Lake Panasofkee Outlet River and paddling to and on the Withlacoochie River and return--a trip of about 2 hours.

Directions: From the intersection of Rt. 41 and Rt. 44 in Inverness, travel east on Rt. 44 (toward rt. 75) for about 9.7 miles to Rt. 470.
Turn right on Rt. 470 (as a guidepost, there is a Chevron station on the right) and go 4.8 miles to Marsh Bend Park, on the right.
This is where we will park and launch.

We should plan to get there at 9:30, and we will leave by 10:00. We have reserved lunch at Catfish Johnny's at 12:30. There is a country music jam for the regular Catfish Johnny"s patrons who eat from 10:30 to 12:00 and then go outside for the music. We can probably stay after lunch for the remainder of the music if we chose.

We need to know how many to reserve for lunch. R.S.V.P.
